The makeup on the cousin character is grotesque in the best way possible. It is a wild ride seeing Draven fight these visions while Elara tries to save him from himself.

The glowing yellow energy binding Draven and the red eyes effect are stunning. The costume design for Elara with those intricate hairpins is gorgeous. The lighting in the bedroom scene creates such a claustrophobic atmosphere. You can feel the tension as the drug takes hold. The production value here is surprisingly high for a short drama format.

Draven yelling at Elara to stay away while she cries is the definition of tragic romance. He thinks she is the illusion, but she is the only real thing anchoring him.
